I’ve enjoyed wrenching on things since I was a teenager, whether it was working on my dirt bike or adding the usual teenage flair to a truck. That’s when I discovered my love for troubleshooting. I like digging into the details to figure out why something failed, why it went belly up, or why I found myself stranded at 3 a.m. with a blown head gasket.
I enjoyed it so much that I joined the Army, where I drove nearly everything they had to offer and learned how to fix problems on the go, often in a pinch. Those experiences sharpened my skills and deepened my respect for the mechanics behind every machine.
Now, I spend my days working on my car or Harley with my two young sons. I teach them what I’ve learned, especially the mistakes I’ve made and how to avoid them. At the end of the day, I truly love working on motors.
